The Opposite of Wild (Clover Park, Book 1) Contemporary Romance (The Clover Park Series) by Kylie Gilmore
Ryan and his brothers have their hands full taking care of their grandmother. She stepped up to the plate and took care of them as boys when their mother died and their father left them. Now it's their turn to be there for her, but she's not willing to live a sedate life, only looking to get into trouble. Ryan placed an ad for elder care for his grandmother and he remembers his first applicant from his teenage days as a lifeguard. Liz sounded perfect considering she was already an elementary show more school teacher. He hired her right away, but was shocked to see what a beauty she'd grown into. Liz had a crush on Ryan when she was younger, but she finds it daunting to be in the same room with him now, realizing he's even more handsome. She needs the money this job will provide, but will she be able to deal with Ryan and not fall for him all over again?
The Opposite of Wild by Kylie Gilmore is precious! The hero and heroine were delightful, their interaction charming, and the sexual tension, intoxicating. Each supporting character filled this story with fun and laughter making it an extremely pleasurable read. I loved the playful grandmother, Maggie, and without her this book wouldn't have been complete. It was wonderful to see Liz unfurl right before our eyes, as she finally opened up to Ryan. The storyline was original and uncommon with lively characters and witty dialect. It was sexy, yet amusing, with plenty of energy to keep this story in constant motion. Kylie Gilmore is a new-to-me author and I'm thrilled to have gotten the chance to read The Opposite of Wild! In my opinion, it's not only worthy of being a MUST READ but a KEEPER too! 5 Stars!

A person has to be made of stone to not find pleasure in the irresistible world that is Kylie Gilmore.
Hidden Hollywood - The Happy Endings Book Club series begins on a high note with this energetic, playful and sincere bundle of feel good fun. An addiction to books and romance helped reel me in because any lover of books I would gladly befriend. Behind the glamour and wealth of big city lives, Claire and Jake have a simpleness on their minds. Matchmaking, a little slight of hand and let the show more masquerade begin.
Inviting Trouble -
Once a Kylie Gilmore fan, there is no escape. Inviting Trouble is just another reason why resistance is futile. How can you help but love an author that uses charm and humor to deliver relevant advice? Did I mention she’s does all this while stealing your heart? The lesson: Every color is special, don't be afraid to let them shine through. I just lost another little piece of my heart and I'm so okay with that.
So Revealing continues to play up the value of friendship and family while cluing in the clueless males of the Campbell brood. Ty is an idiot at times, but his pursuit of Charlotte helped him rise to the rank of lovable goofball in my eyes. Charlotte needed to lighten up her outlook and Ty was just the person to help her do that. If laughter is the best medicine, I would gladly take a double dosage, as long as Kylie Gilmore is holding the spoon. show less

Another great addition to the Clover Park series. Each book could be read as a stand alone but there are enough recurring characters that it makes it worth it to read them all. Kylie brings a sense of humor to her writing that shows through in the scenes & atmosphere of the entire book. Everyone knows surgeons are stuffy & arrogant so to see Jared subbing for his brother in a porcupine costume was hilarious. You can just see his face as he tries to back out of it. I fell in love with Jared show more when he not only followed through but then became as involved with the kids as Emily. This is a fun, sexy romance with just the right amount of comedy.
The main difference between this and the other books in the series is the sober underlying truth that Emily is dealing with pediatric patients and has an extremely tender heart. Emily had not taken any time off from the ward because the last time she did, her patient took a downward turn. She just knows that if she had been there, she could have caught it earlier and reversed it. The other underlying story line is that sweet Emily has a stalker. This adds some drama and suspense along with some twists & turns to the plot line that are not expected.
Once I picked up this story, I couldn't put it down. It is well worth the price! show less

She thought she had him all figured out. Turns out she never even had a clue. Bring on the wicked banter, darling characters and scrumptious romance. Wicked Flirt hides a powerful message within an adorable package. Being human doesn't make us weak. In the painful moments and foolish choices is where we find the most strength. Those moments shape who we are. Lexi and Marcus are learning how to face fear. If they can make it through stubborn pride, long suppressed wounds and matchmaking show more friends, they can survive anything. It's an uphill battle, but they'll be better for it. show less
