Jesus and the Fundamentalism of His Day by William Loader

One of the finest short studies of Authorial Audience and the gospels. Gospel writers depended on proto-gospel accounts and sayings sources, but communities of early Christians provide the basis for the telling of the story. Examines the synoptic gospels, John, Thomas, and Q. Excellent for an academic class, or within congregational settings for a text book
