I just finished reading Haunted by My Rock Chick. It is a novella written by Amanda Kay. Driving home from Callie’s tour, Tyler falls asleep at the wheel. He loses control of the car and wrecks it. He survives the wreck, but Callie doesn’t. He blames himself for her death. It’s up to Callie to save him before he destroys himself and guide him to his future.

This is one of the most beautiful stories I’ve ever read! It was amazing! I was hooked from the very beginning. It was sad yet show more happy. It was beautiful and touching. There’s no words I could give to explain how amazing this book really is. The only thing I can say is that it is definitely a must read! I can’t get over how unique this book was too. I liked that most about the book.

The only thing I didn’t really like about it was how short it was. I am very weird. Most people these days like books that are short and to the point. I like the books that are long and drawn out. The books that give a lot of imagery for the imagination. It was very well written though. I just wish it had been longer. The other thing I was irritated with I can’t discuss here because it will spoil the book. It’s nothing major. The problem will be fixed when I can get ahold of the next book in the series!

I fully recommend this book. I think there will be many people who really enjoy it. It’s realistic. Well, realistic to a point. It has a very beautiful underlying message. It’s inspirational. It’s just all together beautiful. I’m so glad that I was given the opportunity to read this book. I can’t wait until the second book in the series comes out! I’m sure I’ll love it just as much as I did this one!

WHOA. Dat blurb is a seizure-inducer. My eyes hurt. And can I just say that it's ASTOUNDING that the entire blurb has only 4 periods. _____

If one can barely get past the blurb, one should run screaming from the book. *runs screaming

A thank you note from author:

"To all of my English teachers and Communications from middle school through college whether it was writing, being behind the camera, or being talent in front of the camera thank you all for teaching me the value of the creativity I have inside of me"

In a parallel universe, that sentence is still running on.

I implore you all to take a moment to admire the eloquence with which Mrs. Kay has summarized (with proper grammar, I must add) the actual content of her novel. Consider me hooked.
Loved it

I do wish there was more to the story and we learned more of what Willow was dealing internally ..... it felt like parts were left out.....
