Lightweight but enjoyable beginners introduction to making your own films; only takes a couple of hours to read. Some good practical advice and a few inspiring ideas. You shouldn't rely on this book as your only reference but it will give yup a good taste and get you going.
The exercises were very challenging. Demanding but worthwhile to expand my skills.
