I think that my sons and I would have loved this when they were little, even though they didn't play 'tea party' with dolls and toys. I'm intrigued that the author & illustrator kept the magic alive, in that even mom, on the last page, sees the characters as friends rather than toys. And I also love Plain Jane's house....
Pleasant story with nice illustrations. The illustrations include fairly fragile flaps, so best kept for use under parental supervision.
This is a great book for young children. They will enjoy the pop up pictures and the story's content about different animals. The text is easy for young children to decipher and the illustrations support the text. Great to use with a jungle or animal themed lesson.
Helping Daddy is a book about tasks that kids can do for parents around the house. It is a great father/ child book that teaches kids about responsibility and how to help their dad out. It is short and sweet, and worth reading.
