Useful stuff based on a good idea. The book is divided into logical sections. I read the introductory part that includes a justification with references for including the arts in STEM education. It also gives some ways to get the ball rolling (take an art teacher to lunch). I skipped the elementary and high school sections but read the middle school chapter and the final parts that offer some lesson planning ideas. i jotted down a few ideas of my own as I went and I hope to refer to these show more when school starts up again next year. show less
Recommended by a teacher in Math teachers collective and collaborative Facebook group; it’s a textbook; she found it one of the most interesting and useful to explain to high school students why she does some of the things in math class.
