Judie Rothermel

Judie Rothermel is a pioneer in reproduction prints for quilt fabrics and has been designing them for many years. She is well known (among quilters) for her Aunt Grace prints, which reproduce, or are inspired by 1930s prints. This particular book was published several years ago in celebration of the 10th anniversary of Aunt Grace prints. I ordered it online sight unseen because I am intrigued by the cover quilt. However, it turns out that most of the patterns for the blocks of the cover show more quilt are actually in another book of hers, The Centennial Sampler which is out of print and difficult to find. Ah well, there are other quilts in this book that provide full patterns. Hence a three star rating. Overall it is still good for creative inspiration. show less
