The Complete Greek Drama (vol i): All the Extant Tragedies of Aeschylus, Sophocles and Euripides, and the Comedies of Aristophanes and Menander, in a Variety of Translations, 2 Volumes by Whitney J. Oates
Generously, 3*** – 2½** might be more appropriate. Probably an excellent book in its day (1938), but these translations are terribly dated.
My favorite translation. Great notes, very funny.
