This Squadron/Signal book does a nice job of tracing the development of the Zero fighter throughout World War II. There are great black and white photographs, and the text explains the efforts of Mitsubishi to keep up with the challenges presented to them by the improvements and overwhelming numbers of US fighters. There is one page of side view color images of the Zero. It would be really nice if these were supplemented by at least one three view color image, just so one could get a show more complete sense of the wing markings. show less
This is a great book for those looking for reference photos, you'll find a bit of history about the plane, but nothing that goes into a lot of detail.
