"In the Garden" is a simple book exploring the different things you can find in gardens. Different types of vegetables, herbs, flowers, fruits, and animals are shown on each page. Children are encouraged to find each different type of produce in the pictures. There are little fold out flaps that give different facts about the produce, flowers, and animals found on each page. This book was really simple, yet fairly enjoyable. I think it's a good choice for younger readers who are still show more learning their fruits and vegetables. show less

The board book is perfect for a young preschool student! It examines the different ways animals move such as which ones fly, which ones run, and which ones jump. The fact that it is written in a repetitive manner also aides in word acquisition for a young child. Highly recommend!
In the Garden is a very easy science book about all sorts of flowers, fruits, and vegetables you'd find in the gaden. I really love the fold out pages that give you additional educational facts about the things that grow in gardens and even about the animals you could find. The illustrations are very bright and colorful. After reading this as an introduction to a science lesson, you could have the children grow a small plant, care for it, and mark the plant's growth each week. This is a show more great start to inspire them to start a garden at their house. show less

The book “pyramids” Is a descriptive text and picture book about the history and creation of pyramids. The style of the book is very informative and accurately describes how the pyramids are made and what they are used for. The information is accurate but is described in simplified terms so that children of all ages can learn and understand. The first thing I noticed is the pictures in book have great detail, and are interesting. The next thing I noticed is the information is clear and show more easy to understand even for a semi-difficult topic like the pyramids and mummification. I noticed and loved how they use the art in an interesting way to transition between topics. They use a flip book like effect to show the contrast of time, and when building the great pyramids. The style of art and the use of flip book style made me want to read it again. show less
