Yes it played fast and loose with history and what would have happened but it was also a fun romp of a movie that kept me watching and entertained throughout.
Tom Cruise plays Nick Morton, a vaguely immoral scout who theives from archaeological digs whole checking out situations. This time he's fallen on a burried tomb, there are a lot of warnings about the mummy within, and they, and the archaeologist, Jenny Halsey (Annabelle Wallis) rescue the sarcaphogos before the town disappears. Things show more only get stranger from here and on the way to England the plane crashes and Jenny is apparently the only survivor. Nick wakes in the morgue and things get strange from there.

It's pretty predictable but a lot of fun and I enjoyed watching it.

Completely bananas but mostly fun. The car chase was at least 20 mins too long but it kept my attention most of the rest of the time.

Enjoyable action film with twists and turns. The motorbike scene is too long but mostly it doesn't fall into that trap. I've never been a fan of Simon Pegg but I did care what happened to his character in this film.

Great park your brain stuff, this time there's an evil megalomaniac who has been captured since the last movie. He's being questioned by several countries and now Ethan and his group have to capture him to twart a group who have created some nuclear bombs. Of course the day is saved but it's an interesting journey and there's a lot of explosions and last minute rescues and snappy dialogue.

Fun stuff.
