Jackson J. Spielvogel

I used this during my years in college and it definitely was helpful. It provides a healthy overview of western civilization history after 1500. Of course this book does not go in depth, but that's because it is a textbook, mainly used for freshman college students. It's a great reference and starting off point.

This is a small book but it contains a lot of information. It gives an overview of Nazi Germany and it is easy to read and get throuh. However, it can be a little dry at times since it is pretty much a textbook. However, I recommend this to anyone who is interested in learning more about the subject and doesn't want to read a huge volume.

I use the Georgia version of this textbook and it is perfectly aligned to the state standards, common core, and literacy standards. Detailed account of world history in an easy to follow format. Easily teachable with tons of resources to use in the classroom.

Terrible book.
