Three stories about 3 men who became blood brothers when they met in a juvenile boot camp. There were 4 but one was murdered by another kid. They witnessed the murder and sent the murderer to jail. Tyler, Nick & Jules shared their blood and promised to be there for each other. They are now 30, lost contact and finding themselves and their loved ones in danger. Each story deals with one man’s problems and leaves certain questions unanswered for the next story. Each story also links them up show more with women they knew in their past, Gabby, Caroline, and Adrienne. Decent collection. show less
The victim was young, lovely and seduced by the wrong man...

Mere hours before her wedding, the fiancee of real estate mogul JP Stratton is found strangled in her penthouse. New Orleans homicide dectective Charlotte "Charlie" Le Blanc views the crime scene, finding a black silk stocking draped casually beside the body - a chilling calling card from the killer.

The dramatic clue leads Charlie to a world of privilege and wealth, and before long she singles out a suspect whose identify creates a show more furor in the city: Cole Stratton, JP's estranged son. show less
After reading the Wager, I knew I had to purchase this book and it lived up to my expectations and more. Very romantic, intriguing, a wonderful read. I look forward to more of Metsy's books. I put her as an author in the league of Sandra Brown and Jayne Ann Krentz
This book was a real page turner. I thought it was a wonderful read and I couldn't put it down. I will recommend it to others.
