Description

1) In the Spells, Swords & Stealth series by Drew Hayes, Thistle is an aging widowed gnome living in the town of Maplebark as a non-player character. When he is forced to take on the role of a player, he becomes a paladin of Grumble, a kobold minion who was deified, and is the patron of the lowly.

The one in Morning Star is one of the Howlers. She then becomes one of the Boneriders.
