- My primary reading interests are 20th Century history, political history, presidential biography, Florida and Louisiana history. I am also very interested in early to mid 20th Century photography, especially the FSA photographers of the depression era. I also like to read basketball history and biographies of players, coaches, and colorful characters involved in basketball.
My hobbies are gardening and cooking. I really like preserving my harvests and cooking foods from different cultures and traditions. I also like to grow unusual varieties of plants.
I am an avid listener of blues and soul music with a passion for music originating from New Orleans.
