There's a problem with the calculation of the series tag clouds. For the series Sun Tracks, for example, the tag A Combination of Observations and Memories shows up in the cloud as being used 86 times, but clicking through on the tag shows that it's only been used once by one person.

It could have been used 86 time by that person at some time. How often are the tag clouds regenerated? I would venture not very often.

I created this series yesterday and the tag cloud was being regenerated pretty much every time I added a new work to the series.
It wouldn't surprise me if larger tag clouds are cached, but this tag cloud looked very different, yesterday, both in terms of the top tags and in terms of the number of times each tag was used.
Also, I filed this bug under "Common Knowledge" because I didn't see an option for "Series Pages" or "Tag Clouds." Is CK the best place for it?

I'm not seeing the problem. Help?

I think this problem was fixed after whatever you did here (although there may have been some caching issues).

Fixed, then.

Aaaand this problem is back. The series Routledge Comprehensive Grammars is showing that the tag kieliopit is used 8 times in the series tag cloud, but, according to the tag page, it's only used 2 times on the site, overall.

Interesting. Okay, reopened.

This may or may not be related, but the members count on for this book is way off. It shows that 140 members own the book, but if you add up the members on the editions page, only 6 people own it.

10> That may actually be a bug where one or more editions aren't being listed. Check out this bug report and r.orrison's comments:

Also, if you look on this page, you will see there are more editions:
http://www.librarything.com/combine.php?work=1957973
Unfortunately, they don't have member counts beside them so it's hard to tell which ones might have more members.

OK. The reason I think the two may be related is that the series tag cloud for that book went wonky* after I added it to the series, so if one member was being counted multiple times, it would explain both effects.
*"wonky" defined here as having some smaller tags overrepresented in the series

12> Oh, it could well be totally unrelated to that bug. It's just so hard to tell exactly what's going on when we have errors in several different places!
