In related news, economist Robert Murphy has challenged Paul Krugman to debate business cycle theory. The idea is to get internet donations built up to 100,000 that would go to a charity if the event were to take place. Krugman might have too much to lose if he accepted, but the donation money is supposed to be a way to shame him into it. The donations are currently halfway towards their goal.
