Honestly, I failed at recording all my books in last year's 75 challenge (not even sure I got to 75...), so here I am to try again.
Good luck to everyone else-hope you read a ton of great books. :)

So far, the first few books I've finished in the new year are:

Super Sad True Love Story -> Well written & funny though it's scary that it wasn't that much of a radical change from the world we're in now...
The Infernal Devices -> Fast paced & entertaining, though I'm going to read the rest of the series before I pass total judgment.
Ship Breaker -> Maybe 3.5 out of 5 stars? Not the best but not the worst either. Interesting enough to kill time.

Hmm, Ship Breaker sounds interesting. I'll see if the public library has it.

Welcome!

Welcome to the group!

Sounds like you and I are in agreement about Ship Breaker.

Thank you drneutron and alcottacre for welcoming me. :) And thank you mamzel, that's amazing!
Next load of books:
Candyfreak Fun book (a little perverse at times) that hints at the plight of small candy shops.
Unidentified Interesting & short, the ending's not too good but I enjoyed the book.
The perks of being a wallflower Amazing story through letters.
Catching Fire Yep, caught in the hunger games craze. They're nice books, not brilliant but a good adventure story.
Mere Christianity Cleared up some Christian things for me.
Mockingjay A major event didn't do much in the story, but the book itself was an interesting conclusion.
The girl with the dragon tattoo Absolutely loved it.
The girl who played with fire Even better then the first, it's so complex and dark.
The screwtape letters You can learn a lot about humans from a devil's perspective.
anthem Reread it & still thought it was good, though some of it is a bit too male-dominant for my taste.
Up to 13 so far! Think I need to speed it up a little.

Screwtape proposes a toast I really enjoyed this one.
The bell jar This proves I'm a cynic because the really depressing scenes amused me.
Infinite Jest This confused me...it was interesting, a little disturbing in some parts, but mostly just...confusing.
Matched Surprisingly open ending and a fascinating concept.
Outliers This was absolutely brilliant! Changed the way I see many things, including, of course, success.
The things they carried Very, very sobering war novel, though the question of truth the author frequently brought up confused me.

Wow I'm only on 19. This is ridiculous, I'm going to have to be much quicker.

Wow, thanks for that picture! I also read Ship Breaker last year and liked it well enough, but I didn't find it nearly as powerful as The Windup Girl by the same author.

Do not worry about the numbers so much - just have a good time with the reads!
