I just noticed that the Little City Book Fair (formerly the Brandeis University Book sale) has moved from Old Orchard to Harper College, and will be happening in August 19-21. Only 3 days, but probably worth the drive out to Palatine.

I did not know that! Thanks for the info. If I have any money left after the Newberry Library sale, I'll take a drive to Palatine.

Not worth the drive to Palatine if its like it was the last time I caught it at Old Orchard. YMMV, but certainly it was nothing approaching the old Brandeis sales.

I just saw that too. How strange and I do feel like the fair has gone down hill since it used to be Brandeis. I'll have to see about that one.

Just a reminder--the Book Fair is this weekend...also a good time to donate and get some of those old books off your shelves and make room for new ones.

I still have piles on my floor from the Newberry sale. I'd better stay away.

Also, the 50th Chicago Book and Paper Fair is Saturday from 10 to 4, at 1340 W. Washington:
