I was combining two books(DVDS actually) by adding one temporarily to my library. When I saw the book was combined, I deleted my copy. When I went back to check the author again, it lists the book as private AND that I had 1 copy of the book. When I click on either the "You have 1 book and 1 work by Michael Starbird." link or the book's name "Change and Motion: Calculus Made Clear (1st edition), Part 2" I get "Problem This book is private".

Weird thing is I don't have a copy in my library, at least that I can see. (I tried adding and deleting a second copy, which only made me have 2 private, non-existent books!) It had all worked fine earlier on other books.

The work page is http://www.librarything.com/work/10153278

Is this a bug? A delay with the server? Or something to do with the barometric pressure?

I think this is the same bug as this one:

Rsterling -- thanks. It does look like I'm not alone.

I don't know if this matters, but I had to try it again. I used a similar procedure with another of the author's "books" and again I got the "Private book" warning. Everything was fine until I deleted my copy. I also noticed that I had an extra book in my library total.

Now, about 13 minutes later, this last one I combined has disappeared from my library and is no longer private. Interestingly, the first book (2 copies) from 2.5 hrs ago is still listed as private. So, will this first problem go away eventually?

Another curious thing, the grey checkmark has disappeared from the list of books on the author's page.

Just checked -- I no longer have private, non-existent books! 9-9.5 hours later.
