Since Anne Rice renounced the Roman Catholic Church on 7/29/2011 maybe she'll give up writing about Angels & The Life of
Christ Series of hers and finally get back to the genre she does best, Horror. Maybe her new novel coming out, The Wolf Gift about Werewolves is her way of coming back to the Horror genre. In the past she's written about Witches, The Mayfair Trilogy, Vampires, The Vampire Chronicles and New Tales of The Vampires and now it's Werewolves. I can't wait until it goes on Sale. I'm definitely gonna go out and buy it and it to my Anne Rice Collection. I may just return to be an Anne Rice fan again is she is gonna start writing Horror novels again on a regular basis.

I don't mean to be unthoughtless when I say this but didn't we go through this a few year ago with her views of the Catholic Church?

Yea, but now she's decided not to follow the Catholiic Church and I was hoping she just might just decide to drop her other
books and start writing Horror novels again since that is what originally made her a household name, not her Life of Christ Series or Songs of the Seraphim Series, either. What brought her fame & made her a household name in the beginning was The Vampire Chronicles Series beginning of course with Interview With the Vampire. I'm hoping that The Wolf Gift will be the first volume in a long line of books in The Wolf Gift Series, just like The Vampire Chronicles. I mean I would LOVE to see her return to writing Horror novels again. Because I still feel the same today that I did back then, she dumped her very loyal fans who were with her from the very beginning, like me & who lost fans, myself included because of the way she treated us and decided just to devote the rest of her life to wiriting books on The Life of Christ Series & now Songs of the Seraphim too. She should get back to what she writes best and that is Horror novels.

I follow her on Facebook and she is still very spiritual so I doubt that she is going to give up her angel or Christ series. I'm not a big fan of the angel series but I do think the Christ series is really well written. I am really looking forward to The Wolf Gift, however. I love her vampire series, especially the first three, but some of her other early books like Cry To Heaven and The Feast of All Saints were also stellar.

FInished the vampire chronicles to prince Lestat, I have read the wolf gift, but this witches business is tempting.
