Young woman wealthy family, cloth merchant father? Older brother-she is an art lover, feels trapped in her role, arranged marriage etc. handsome young artist arrives comissioned to paint frescoes in the family mansion- man comes to stay-radical monk prophesying doom...last 10 years or so

Yes!! Wow, that was quick. I have just been volunteered to coordinate a book club-members are nearly all oncology nurses-or working in oncology-and they want books that are 'easy' reads...page turners, I guess you'd say. But I cannot read badly written fluff-so I'm on a mission and think this will fit the bill-fot one,anyway! Thanks, raidergirl!
