I haven't done a LT giveaway of my Storyteller books in quite a while, and since the Member's Giveaway function continues to be broken (and doesn't generate many reviews anyway), I'm doing it here.

The book I'm giving away this month is Storyteller, an *ebook* provided through Smashwords.com. It's available there in most of the common e-reader formats. Storyteller is the first book in a series set in 6th century Britain, just after the historic King Arthur. It follows the adventures of a young man named Gwernin, who begins his career as a traveling storyteller in what is now Wales, and becomes in time - perhaps! - a master bard. The first three books - Storyteller, Flight of the Hawk, and The Ash Spear - form what I call the "young Gwernin" trilogy.

I am offering 50 copies of Storyteller in this giveaway, which closes August 1, 2012, at 8:00 am MDT. To be eligible, leave a post on this thread. If I get more than 50 requests, I will select the 50 winners based on their LT profiles, including reviewing history. I am hoping for additional reviews of the book here and (hopefully) on other sites.

To learn more about the Storyteller series and what I'm writing now, see my current chat thread ("Bards and Druids...") and its predecessors. While this thread is not entirely "spoiler-free" (according to some definitions), the discussions have usually been more general and philosophical, including questions about my historical sources. So feel free to chat, ask questions, and post links to your reviews of the Storyteller books there!

I already have it, just wanted to say that it's a great read so sign up if you haven't read it yet.

Thanks for the recommendation, @yolanda. ;-) Come over and join us on the chat thread if you haven't already - I am giving weekly updates on my current writing project.
