The woman had been in bad relationships with men and wanted space I think and lived in a motor home or a trailer. I don't think she had the dog at the beginning of the book but a dog somehow winds up living with her. Either the story is told from the dog's point of view or at least some of it was.
Anyone know the name of this book? I don't think its too old. I want to say I read it within the last couple of years though it could be older than that. I just don't think its that hard to find. If you know the name of it anyway. ;-)
Thanks!

Sounds like Walking in Circle Before Lying Down by Merrill Markroe. Sorry, I must be doing the Touchstones wrong.
If this sounds right, the dog's name is Chuck.

Correcting typo, let's see if this makes the Touchstones light up:
Walking in Circles Before Lying Down by Merrill Markoe
There you go! Pretty sure this is the book you mean.
