>177 ulmannc: I've added the publication date to the book listing screen in version 1.8.7, published a few hours ago. I'll work on the other requests when I get some time!

I reloaded and publication date didn't come up. I'm guessing a propigation issue. I'll try again in the morning. I'm east coast. It is showing 1.8.7 s32 on the version.

Yay for being back in the Play Store! I guess I need to switch, if you're adding new features... :D

>1 seabear: I reloaded it again and I see more data (YES!) but not the publication date field. I took a dump and the field in the 9th column has the heading 'DATE' and that is where the publication date is loaded. The 8th column is called 'PUBLICATION' and that has the location and sometimes the name of the publisher. When I checked, I'm at version 1.8.7sc36. Don't you just love people who have nothing better to do than mess with this stuff. What the heck, I'm (gainfully unemployed) a volunteer museum curator and right now I'm baby sitting environmental control installation at the museum so I have time!

Could someone in the know please post the Android App details on this new thread? Thanks!

What details are you looking for? The Play Store link is

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.kinverarity.offlinebookshelfbr...

The app downloads your library, and allows you to see and search your books offline. You log in to LT to let it download. What else?

That's a great start, thank you.

>4 jjmcgaffey: Good to be back! Probably a good idea to swap. I can't access the old app at all anymore.

>5 ulmannc: Ah I misunderstood! Thanks - I'll fix that, make it so you're able to pick any field to show there.

>9 seabear: You just made my day! It works like a champ with the date popping up in the list. Nice job. Now it's off to FL to give it a good work out! If I run into anything( software issues - not cars or oranges), I'll make sure you are the first to know(sic)!

Seriously, I really like it a lot. It beats spread sheets all to pieces. Thank you!

I'm not sure if I told you but I'm running this on a Samsung S4 Galaxy and normally hold the phone in the vertical position. For me it is very readable that way!

Thrilled to see this available on the Play Store again! Thanks for your persistence, as I have been trying to recommend your app to my mother-in-law, but she isn't able to install from the third-party website that the apk was on. You are awesome!

I've installed the "Offline Bookshelf Library" app but I have a problem with the collections. Only "Your library" and "Favorites" show up. I really need other colleactions to appear (my own "Wishlist" collection or the "To read" one).

You will need to contact the developer directly. He has no involvement with LT. His information is available on the web site where you downloaded the app. I'm assuming it is from the Play Store.

>13 claraoscura: Is that the Offline Bookshelf Browser by sbearlt1? All of my collections show up - note that if you do a search, then hit the folder button to see the collections, it will only show the collections represented in the search. Use the back button to get to All Books (it says in the top left corner) to see all the collections.

>13 claraoscura: claraoscura: Hey, I'm the developer. Thanks for trying it out! Unfortunately the bug you are experiencing has been around since I first wrote the app (this one) and I haven't been able to figure it out.

It's pretty frustrating, I also can't access my wishlist collection. I'll have another look over the long weekend coming up here and see if I see something I didn't notice before...

Sorry!

Apparently an official LT Android app is now in development:
