Animals sense the evil that is Trump and act accordingly:

Just think - if the eagle had gotten his talons into Trump's neck and ripped out his jugular veins and carotid arteries it would have been a case of the extremely prejudiced terminated with extreme prejudice.
That's irony, right?

Is it paranoid to wonder why it took so long for the footage to come out?

I think it is pretty obvious why they would delay revealing details of photoshoots for man of the year candidates. until after they had announced who had won.

That whole thing was idiotic. The sham symbolism of thinking you look like a great patriot because you're holding an eagle. Stupid. When he was reaching his hand behind the eagle that was dumb as shit too. Those animals can see everything for miles in any direction up in the air and they're absolutely instinctual in everything they do. As soon as they see prey or a threat---automatic reaction. They don't reason--they see and react.

I heard in an interview on NPR that Time doesn't pick presidential candidates for person of the year. So why were they photographing Trump? Thank good they didn't add even more fuel to his ego fire!
