Apparently she's died. I wasn't a fan of either her or her husband--IMO they were both pretty horrible---so I'll leave the eulogizing for others.

I confess I thought she was already dead.

#2---you know what? I was thinking the same. I think I'm going to look over on wikipedia to make sure.

I'm sorry she didn't have time to condemn Trump.

This rather discreditable news source claims Reagan endorsed Clinton. I can't find the clip they're talking about, but I find that perfect. http://nationalreport.net/nancy-reagan-want-hillary-win/

Left with the choice of voting for Hillary or the Donald she finally did an honorable thing and opted out.

>10 lilithcat: Why not? He is posting to express his disdain, which I share. Are you moderating this group this week?

Who said anything about moderation? I simply don't see the point of the initial post. And who are you? >1 lriley:'s spokesperson?

Well personally I didn't think I was all that disdainful. I simply said I didn't like her or her husband who is an icon of the Rush Limbaugh's and the right and maybe the most polarizing political figure of 20th century American politics and that includes FDR who is or was the most reviled by the right (until the Clinton's came along), Hoover and Nixon--and then I made a smarmy remark about her losing her chance to pull the lever for Trump or Clinton---maybe we should all be so lucky? I could draw up a litany of reasons why I detested him and I could make a much shorter list of reasons why I didn't like her.
So why start the thread at all? How about--Because. Or maybe nobody else seemed to be in a rush to. The Reagan's and american politics was reason enough and like it or not and sometimes I'm not that happy about it (oops! I shouldn't say such a thing--love it or get out) I'm an american too---let's say with a small 'a'. If someone wants to say some nice things about her though they're free to.

Mr Clinton's second term approval rating: 60.6%. His highest approval rating was 73% in December 1998, the same month in which he was impeached. http://www.gallup.com/poll/116677/presidential-approval-ratings-gallup-historica...

However popular Mr. Clinton was at the time he and Hillary as well are still polarizing political figures. Polarizing figures are for the most part are either loved or hated--there's not many in the middle on them. FDR was as a polarizing figure as well. The difference for me is that FDR was a polarizing figure in a good way and pretty much every POTUS from Reagan on has done their part to destroy the social safety network that he set up.

>12 lilithcat: I am the one who wonders who you think you are to moderate the thread, to question someone's reasonable reason for posting. It is topical and he expresses an opinion. He himself says it is not disdainful, as I categorized it, so I am not his spokesperson, but I bristle when others try to silence reasonable people without cause. Your post was empty yet haughty.
