Wow! Your black cat is as huge as mine is! Last vet visit, 19 lbs. for mine! Will crop some pics to a web-suitable size when I get home from work...

Haha yeah, Asimov is pretty huge. I don't know just how big, but it's always funny to visit a friend with 'normal'-sized cats - they all look like kittens to me.

A friend of the family had a similarly huge cat when I was... let's call it "similarly little" shall we? This led to some interesting stories, including the first vet visit. They couldn't find a big enough cat carrier and ended up using a dog carrier -- which in turn led to some confusion at the vet's office.

I can't stop giggling at these cats http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z3U0udLH974 (absolutely work safe).
I only have one cat; do multiples act this way when together?

I love it when kitties "melt" into the table or chair or wherever. Blue's cat looks like she's been left in the sun too long.

Aw, that's sweet, though no doubt they are plotting what mischief to commit once their human has left the house!
do multiples act this way when together?
Some do, some don't. My two current kitties (Marissa and Lilith) often curl up close and groom each other, but my late Mr. Mojo and Lilith rarely did.

That video is priceless! My cats don't do that when they're together, I've never seen anything like that!
Having a hard time finding a pic that really shows how huge Halfnut is, but you can sort of tell on this one. And just so she doesn't feel left out, here's one of my other cat, Scully. I always tend to think of her as being a small cat, because she's dwarfed by Halfnut, but when other people see her, they make comments like, "Wow, that's a BIG cat!"

I feel as if I've been reading a lot about Asimov today! My cat Willie weighed in at 25lbs at one point. After a strict vet-sponsored diet, he's now just under 15lbs. He was also crowned the 2006 UK Pet Slimmer of the Year! :)
But that's not really funny. So I'll add this:

Which shuffle? I can't speak to the Times Square one, after all.

And here's another cat video. (I've still got the window open in case "embed" doesn't work.)

Not sure if LT lets you embed videos and i think most would prefer to have a link anyway.

I'm new around here, so y'all please let me know if any of these cross the line in the "tacky" sand.

33> Alright! I check in with Cute Overload and The Daily Kitten at least once a day, so I thought I might skip this one. I went ahead and clicked it. I laughed from deep inside.
Thank you,

Reviving this thread with a link to very stand-up routine on a subject that's really not off-topic.

Hmmm..... 6:30 doesn't seem late enough for me to have gotten myself that confused (dropped words and all that). But it is funny and worth a click.
For a slightly different kind of humor....

That's not my photo, so I'm sure a clickthrough would be appreciated.
