I'm happy to be joining this group again for another year of great reading. I'm going to stick to a goal of 40 books again for this year. I barely scraped by in 2016, so it seems like a good level for me.

Finished two more ROOTS in the past two days! Both in the fantasy category, I enjoyed them. So glad to be off to a good start, I know there will be slower months ahead. I'm trying to squeeze in as much as possible before my online class starts up.

Finished off another ROOT yesterday, Star Wars Rogue One: Rebel Dossier, that puts me at 4 for the month.

I've finished three ROOTS this week, so now I'm at 7 for the year.

5 and 6. The Forgotten Way Meditations and The Forgotten Way Study Guide
I completed a 21 day challenge to read one meditation a day to start the New Year off with daily devotions.

7. Rogue One: a Star Wars Story
The novelization based on the movie script, it did include several small scenes of additional material. A lot of additional character development was seen due to the book medium and point of view.

Three more ROOTs down! Good job.

Finished off my first ROOT for February, putting me at 8 for the year. The Ghost Rebellion, book 5 in the steampunk series The Ministry of Peculiar Occurrences.

Finished off my second ROOT for February, putting me at 9 for the year. It was a quick Star Wars read, Star Wars Rebels: Sabine My Rebel Sketchbook.

Finished my first ROOT for March, Biblically Kosher. That puts me at 10/40 for the year.

Finished my second ROOT for March, The Tales of Beedle the Bard, which puts me at 11/40 for the year.

Managed to finish off two more ROOTS in the past 24 hours, putting me at 13/40 for the year. I finished Quidditch through the Ages and The Very Next Thing.

Just finished my first ROOT for April, it's been a slow ROOT month, lots of library books. I finished Star Wars Tales from a Galaxy Far, Far Away Volume 1.

Finished my second ROOT for April over the weekend, Bandersnatch a book about the collaborative work of the Inkling, how their writers group encouraged, criticized, and supported each other during the writing process.

Finished off two ROOTS for May this past week, both were Stargate books.

You are doing great!

June was a slow month, but I managed to read 3 ROOTs when on vacation the first week of July, so I am working on getting back on track.

Yes I am. I'm re-reading a recent series since I finally got the last book and wanted to refresh myself on what happens before I read the ending. It works well for my ROOT challenge, I'm trying to get back on track.

Finished off another Stargate, still have a few more to go before I finish the Legacy series.

33. Stargate Atlantis: Secrets

Doing great! You'll be a Stargate expert after this series.

It's a really fun series, set after the end of the tv show but based on the all the characters and plot lines from the show.

34. Stargate Atlantis: Inheritors

I'm finally all caught up, so now it's time to finally read how the series ends.

36. Stargate Atlantis: Third Path
The conclusion of the Stargate Legacy series was really good, and had some unexpected twists. Glad to get some closure with some characters. Overall satisfied with the ending, but also sad that it is over.
