My little tiger sleeping.
Hi I'm Rae; this is my third time being part of the 75ers group. I am 24; I have a 4 month old Kitten named Mayhem who I absolutely adore. My favorite thing to do is work on one of my many stories I am writing. I love watching crime shows especially with my mom as we share a love for them. I plan to read a lot of books this year whether graphic novels or books.
2GeezLouise
Books I am currently reading
The Ancient Magus Bride Vol. 1
Reawakened I read her Tiger's Curse series and absolutely loved them one of my favorite series. I have read the first book multiple times and the second more then twice.

Happy New Year!!! Your thread looks great.
18Morphidae
Having heard of your Pecan Paradisio book club, MrMorphy and I have decided to do the same thing. We won't be doing much fantasy though as that isn't his type of thing so for January we'll be reading the classic science fiction The Mote in God's Eye by Larry Niven and Jerry Pournelle.
Glad to see you posting!

>18 Morphidae: It is so lovely to see you hear Morphy; that is awesome news. I will be interested to see what else you two read this year.
Thank you, I sort of fell of the radar here at the end of last year. There was so much going on around here it was kind of crazy. I hope to be more present this year on the threads.
>19 souloftherose: Thank you Heather, and Happy New Year to you too it's good to be back.

These family book clubs are a great idea, I must say. I wanted to follow suit but nobody in my household was remotely interested in reading along with me. Belle's description of my book choices as being "crap" was, I thought, overly dismissive.
29GeezLouise
>20 SuziQoregon: Thanks Juli, Happy New Year, I hope to find some awesome reads.
>21 mckait: Thank you Kath, welcome to my thread thanks for coming. Mayhem is my world I absolutely adore him to pieces. He is aptly named as he loves to cause Mayhem often.

I think I am all caught up now if I missed anyone please let me know. This week is a little strange as many businesses do not have power. I am enjoying the time off however more time to read.
31PaulCranswick
*Clears throat* Hmm just above at >28 PaulCranswick:!
32GeezLouise
>28 PaulCranswick: Sorry about that Paul you snuck in while I was posting I didn't notice obviously. I am sorry to hear your family isn't interested in doing a book club for shame. They don't know what they are missing Paul I found the part about Belle funny.
33GeezLouise
So yesterday I rearranged my bookshelf as there are some books I will never read on it. I know the horror don't panic they will all be donated to our local library so someone else can enjoy reading them. I happened to pick up a few to refresh my memory as to what they were about. Well naturally one of those I decided to immediately start reading. I am liking it so far and will be interested to see where it goes I hope its good. I already like here Tiger's curse series so I am certain I will enjoy this one as well.
34GeezLouise
Last night my plans for today took an unexpected turn when my father got home. He asked each of us kids for help if we were willing to give it we all agreed. So we spent several hours moving furniture and supplies from his office to a temporary building. At least this one has electricity which is more then what his office currently offers. The storms knocked out power around their building and it could be a while before they have it back. We had to clean the new area we will be using and then arrange everything. On the bright side plenty of people were there to help move things over. We got it all taken care of so they can see patients there tomorrow just sick. In the meantime till they are fully up and running I get to enjoy some days off. I am loving every moment of it and like seeing my siblings more and relaxing. On the downside after their office is back to working perfectly we will have to move everything back. Not really looking forward to do doing though I will of course be there to help.

Found your thread, Rae. Happy New Year!
Oof, moving it all to a temporary office, and then back again. What a pain. I'm glad at least you have lots of folks to help.
I hope you continue to enjoy the bit of time off, and that you have a great weekend.

>35 katiekrug: Hey Katie, it doesn't often happen to me as I usually read something someone suggested or a specific book I think of.
I certainly have enjoyed the time off I start back in this weskit will probably be crazy.
>36 Morphidae: The polls are back up they just need to get the transformers before they can move forward.
>37 jnwelch: So glad you could make it Joe feel free to stay awhile and relax.
Yeah it was nice to have several people everyone there is nice it should be easier moving back. Though I am not looking forward to it I imagine this week will be crazy. Hopefully its not too bad for us I am glad I am not a doctor or a nurse.
Thanks I will do that, and I hope you had a great weekend as well.

I am looking forward to sleeping in and relaxing this weekend. It is off to a great start as I watched tv with my mom. One of my very favorite things to do I always look forward to it.

>56 PaulCranswick: Hi Paul, I got up at about 9 though I meant to get up at eight to go get doughnuts. I wanted to get them before Superman had to work didn't quite manage that. >57 scaifea: Hello Amber, thanks hope your weekend was wonderful, and you and your family have a lovely week.
>58 Morphidae: Hey Morphy, yes everyone at work is very happy to be back in our usual office. Though I have a feeling the first few days will be crazy especially tomorrow. I have a lot of stuff to catch up on so I will be pretty busy to start off with. Last night my family and I watched the big sleep the original version it was so good. I didn't know they had redone it so watching the original was a lot of fun. I liked it better then the other one for the most part we had a great time. The Thief is this months book for our book club I am going to start it tomorrow, I was sort of waiting for the paper copy. Good thing its so short or I might have more trouble getting it read in time. Hope life is treating you well Morphy and you have a fantastic week.
>59 sibylline: Hello Lucy, thank you for stopping by my thread I always love new visitors. I was happy to help with the move all of the people there are so nice and kind.
