I don't know why it took me so long but I have just started reading the vampire chronicles. I have been looking into the correct reading order and have found vastly different opinions, even from Annerice.com. I have read them in the following order so far but don't know where to go from here:
Interview With a vampire
Vampire lestat
Queen of the Damned
Tales of the body thief
Memnoch the devil

Some recommend Vampire Armand now, some recommend starting the Mayfair Witches' books now, some say to read Pandora now

What order do you all recommend?

Thank you!

You made this post quite a while ago so you may have already finished the series, but in case not.

Pandora is officially part of a separate series, New Tales of the Vampires, along with Vittorio the vampire. Vittorio stands alone. Pandora's story is tied in with Marius so it's worth to read Pandora and Armand quite close together.

I'm rereading the Mayfair witches books now. I think I would stick with the Vampire Chronicles, and until Blackwood farm, read the Mayfair books before starting that.

Blackwood farm and Blood Canticle are crossover novels with the Mayfair witches books, but I thought they were the weakest of the Vampire chronicles.
