President Trump’s surprise intervention to try to save the elephants of Zimbabwe has drawn praise from across the political spectrum —
He followed up Sunday with a more definitive message. “Big-game trophy decision will be announced next week but will be very hard pressed to change my mind that this horror show in any way helps conservation of Elephants or any other animal,” he wrote.

First he put them in the line of fire again and then he pulled back--I don't know if it was political expediency or what. Maybe you could tell us.
I will say I think safari/trophy hunting is a bunch of shit. It's also apparently a favorite sport of Donald Jr. Murdering animals just to put their heads on a wall is the product of a sick and fucked up imagination. People traveling to Africa just to bag an elephant or a lion--being taken right to a spot by a guide setting them up all the way and then posing afterwards like they're some superman is not hunting. Mind you I don't particularly have a problem with people who hunt for food--for some people it's even a way to get by but you at least should have some respect for the animals you kill.
