Trump: Who's going to pay for the Wall?

Trump crowd: MEXICO!

Trump: Who?

Trump crowd (even lounder): MEXICO!!!!!!!!

How's that working out fiscal conservatives and war hawks? $160 million earmarked for upgrading West Point's Military Academy is being diverted for Trump's wall project from the $1.8 billion of domestic military spending he's stealing. That's money meant for training America's future military leaders.

If I were a Mexican I'd be laughing out of my ass at this clown.

Considering that it's not going to work... yeah.

He should ask the Chinese for help. They have lots of experience...

Didn't keep the Mongols out, though.

Not to mention that a large part of that $1.8 billion was earmarked for projects to maintain or repair infrastructure managed by the Army Corps of Engineers (dams, navigation locks, hydropower, levees, seawalls, etc), and to upgrade military facilities threatened by climate change, as outlined in the American Security Project.

#4--Norfolk? maybe the most important airbase on the East Coast is inoperable quite a lot because it's runway is underwater which is due to climate change. Donald is dumb enough that he thinks a couple/three cold days in January proof that there is no such thing as global warming. He decided long ago he's smarter than all the science and all the scientists on the subject. His mind is unable to make connections on simple things that first and second grader's can. Like why are we getting fiercer hurricanes--more forest fires and avalanches in the west--more earthquakes. None of that seems to compute.

For those interested this is how Trump's redistribution of wealth for his wall works. He's stolen money (with the Supreme Court's stamp of approval) from 3 US territories and 23 states:

1. Puerto Rico $402.571 mil
2. Guam $257.338 mil
3. New York $160 mil
4. New Mexico $125 mil
5. Alaska $102.4 mil
6. Virginia $89.231 mil
7. Washington $88.960 mil
8. North Carolina $80.294 mil (and may it hurt the re-election chances of republican Sen. Thom Tillis)
9. Maryland $66.5 mil
10. Kentucky $62.634 mil (Sen. McConnell is up for election in 2020 too)
11. Utah $54 mil
12. Louisiana $39 mil
13. Texas $38.5 mil (keeping in mind that they will probably reap a lot back in wall construction if it does go forward)
14. Hawaii $31.992 mil
15. Arizona $30 mil ( Republican Sen. McSally was already in kind of a bad spot before this reallocation)
16. Virgin Islands $27.375 mil
17. Indiana $24 mil
18. Florida $17 mil
19. South Carolina $10.75 mil
20. Oregon $10.5 mil
21 through 25--each of California, Colorado, Mississippi, Oklahoma and Wisconsin $8 mil
26. Alabama $5.2 mil

Which brings me to this conclusion--not withstanding the fact that in the past Mr. Trump had no issue at all employing/exploiting (a crime according to the laws of the United States then and now) undocumented Hispanic immigrants at his Hotels and golf resorts--he really doesn't like brown people. To put up his wall here to keep out Mexicans and other Central Americans he takes it out on Puerto Ricans most of all and to a pretty staggering degree. Just more evidence of his racism.
