I repeat the obvious - 36 per cent of U.S. voters are dumb-ass retards beneath contempt.

Can a nation survive when 36 per cent of its citizens are dumb-ass retards beneath contempt? I do not know. I guess we will find out in the fullness of time.

- That 36 per cent of U.S. voters are dumb-ass retards beneath contempt?
No. That is indeed old news.
The new news is this latest poll which addresses the question of how impeachable or not the Orange Agent Traitor is now after the release - by the scumbag himself - of the Ukrainian phone call transcript.
A total of 36 per cent of those polled either thought it was not particularly so - or - not at all a violation of the Presidential oath.
To have that opinion a person would have to be 1. a traitor him/herself or 2. a dumb-ass retard.
Giving the benefit of the doubt I will just assume the lesser of evils here, i.e., choice #2.
That is all.

What's surprising is that 36% is less than the 40-45% of the electorate that is Trump's die-hard supporters, so it seems like this Ukraine affair is starting to peel off a small part of his base.

There are a lot of people who do not read very well and a lot of people who don't read at all. As far as republican elected officials who have claimed they haven't read the material or haven't had the time--they have read it or at least almost all but are giving themselves space for later just in case they need to jump off the sinking ship. I actually find it very credible that a lot of republican lawmakers secretly despise Trump--probably not those in the Freedom Caucus though. Those are the ones that have been running things--those are the ones who threw in their lot lock, stock and barrel with Trump. The republicans were pretty awful before them with their anti-abortion, gun loving but pro business, big banks, corporations and Wall St. ways, their anti-tax and anti-poor stances. Those things are still there but way in the background--what's in the foreground now is resentment against black people and brown people, gay people and women who think they have as much right to run the country as men do. This is what Trump has given them and they don't want to give any of it up. They've marginalized themselves as a political party in their thinking that an antichrist is a Jesus Christ.
