Hi Everyone,
I'm Kate. I live in Australia and love reading books. I've only just got back into it after a hiatus after being stuck on A Prayer for Owen Meany which put me off reading for a while. Since I've started again, I'm back with a vengeance.
I've recently joined LT and trying to get everything in order, plus trying to read in the meantime! I would love to have an ongoing challenge throughout the year and this looks like fun! I'm not quite sure what I'm doing but I'm going to give it a go.
I'm going to organise mine into groups of books I generally like to read, and try a couple of challenges as well, both here and Goodreads (but will list them all here too).
I work full time, am a mother to a 3-year-old trouble maker, Hope, and have a lovely little life that keeps me happy and peaceful (most of the time).
I've been inspired by many of you on here to try and set mine out a bit better than I have tried already so here goes!

Classics
I have this kind of FOMO with the classics. There are so many new books constantly coming out but I want to know what all the fuss is about with the oldies. Some I have been miserably let down with, others, pleasantly surprised.

My TBR Bookshelf
This should read "I have piles to go before I sleep"
The woods are lovely, dark and deep
but I have promises to keep,
and miles to go before I sleep,

Hi to a fellow Aussie!
I am also working through the 1001 list - only got 30 or so books read from it this year. I also have the James Mustich 1000 Books - I like this one as it includes nonfiction, poetry, plays. Just those two lists would keep me busy for the ret of my life!
Happy reading in 2020 - look forward to following along.
