Wolfy's wanderings with the written word (2020 edition)

This year I’m going to be re-reading Neil Gaiman’s Sandman graphic novels but this time doing so alongside the companion book by Hy Bender. I have the absolute editions and the plan is to read one volume every other month. The rest of my plans involve the usual continuing series, occasional stand-alones and the odd non-fiction title thrown in for good measure mostly pulled from the ever-expanding tbr shelves and wishlist.

Quick links to previous year's reading adventures just in case I (or anyone else) want to look back.

>1 AHS-Wolfy: I look forward to seeing what you read this year! I want to read those Sandman graphic novels someday, although it will probably be quite a while before I get to them.

Always look forward to your interesting suggestions.

One year I might venture into Sandman, as American Gods was much better than I'd feared.

>1 AHS-Wolfy: Love the graphics in Sandman. That was my first venture into graphic novels and now remains the one by which I judge all the others. Although, I haven't read them all. My daughter advised me on which ones I probably wouldn't enjoy, and after checking her once by reading one of them, I followed her advice on all the others. :)

I keep thinking I will one day read Sandman, but there's so many volumes, I find it intimidating.
