I only read one big book last year. This year I vow to do better.

I just now finished The Long Ships by Frans G. Bengtsson. A fantastic Viking adventure story.

Happy New Year everyone.

What can I say about Don Quixote that hasn’t already been said? I just loved every minute of it. I think the Tom Lathrop translation is superb. Thanks goes to my husband who has been encouraging me to read it for years. So glad I did.

>5 johnsimpson: Thank you and I’m glad to be back. Currently I’m tackling Barbara Tuchman’s A Distant Mirror, and enjoying it very much.
