So when do we want to read this one? February or March? Later?

By the way, added this thread to the group wiki. Have fun!

I'm good any time. I've got it on my Kindle ready and waiting. I guess we should see if anyone is relying on a library copy, and when they might get it.

>5 thornton37814: That's the way it is with me, too.
Since I still have one or the other book lying on mount TBR, I can also wait a bit...

February is kinda "booked" up for me (ha!), so how about March?

>7 Berly: March works. I'll add it to my "reservations."

As my middle name is Procrastinatus, March is perfectly OK.

Hope everyone has found their copy of Buried in Secret because it's almost March!! : )

It will probably be a spring break read for me.

OK, it's March, but I need a few more days, until I can start.
Completely surprisingly, I still have a few books I need to finish first....

I already finished, but want to wait a bit to start posting thoughts. Let me know when you guys start!! : )

I am at chapter 9.
With many books this would be almost half, but with this book it is still at the very beginning 😉.
So I need some more time...

It was a reunion with old acquaintances and short chapters. This time the focus is more on Nora and her fear.
I like the book better than the last one - again very well written and exciting, if there is another volume of the series, I will stay with it.

I'm at 25% according to my Kindle. Hoping I can make some progress when I get home from running errands this afternoon. I'd like to finish it this weekend. We'll see.

So, I actually didn't like this one as much. I am tired of broken marriages I think. But I would still be up for another one. ; )

>18 Berly: I think the personal elements are becoming too much. After reading it, I made a comment in my thread's book review about tiring of Nora and all her personal drama and someone agreed with me either publicly or privately.

I hear you. It will probably be a while before another one comes out and by then I will probably be willing to give the series another try, but if it (see spoilers above) continues, then I will opt out in the future.

I've been following this thread with interest, because I thought the previous book was weak, especially in developing the characters involved in the mystery/crime. I liked the development of the recurring characters over time, but that wasn't enough. I think I'm opting out ...

I totally agree with your opinions.
But maybe the series will recover - you never know....
But there is one or the other book you can read instead.
For example, I myself was thrilled with the last volume of the Lynley & Havers series. Volume 21 and not a bit boring.
