Calling Scots in LibraryThing

I'm wondering why this group is dormant. Are there no Scots in LibraryThing or have they all gone elsewhere?

I've had a LibraryThing account for years but never really used it because I did most stuff in G**dR**ds. I'm not very happy about the recent changes there so I've come back here to see what's happening and how I can use it.

I've only recently moved from Glasgow to Edinburgh for work reasons and I'm always happy to meet new bookish friends.

>1 enitharmon: Hi Rosie, I’m in Perthshire (though Glaswegian originally) and have been with LT for seven years - was recommended it by a Glasgow friend, now sadly deceased.

Took me a while to get into LT but I catalogued my books and joined the ROOTs group, aka Reading Our Own Tomes, in a bid to tackle my ever-growing TBR pile. It’s a lovely group. One of the members there is from Stirling. I’ve been studying for the past 18 months so haven’t been as active on LT as I’d like and just dip in about once a month.

I’m really interested to see what response you get from your post, in the meantime, hope you’re enjoying Edinburgh!
