While I was looking for the book I posted in other thread, I remembered another one, similar in plot, that I read in paper format from a lending library several years ago.
This is also a contemporary second chance romance, originally published between the late 90s and early 2000s (I guess). I've been wracking my brain trying to remember most of the story but I might get things mixed up. I'll try my best to be as accurate as possible.
At the beginning of the book, the protagonists are reunited after some time apart. I can't recall if they are divorced or if they are a stranged married couple. But what I do know is that the Hero kind of blackmails the heroine into resume their relashionship.
I can't remember if he demands her to give him an heir or if he proposes they make a child in the the old-fashioned way, since the h is undergoing fertility treatments because she wants a child instead of taking the chance on a relationship again. I think she suffered a miscarriage in the past. I suspect their relationship didn't end up well at some point because of that fact.
If I'm not mistaken, she's a goldsmith/ jewelry designer who owns her own business/ workshop. She also has an old lady friend who happens to be a doctor.
There's a scene where he suddenly pops up at her workshop, they engage into an argument and the h unexpectedly bends over and throws up on H's expensive shoes.
Over the storyline they work through the past and open up to each other, eventually leading to the perfect HEA.
Unfortunately that’s all I could remember.
Thanks in advance for any help you guys can provide.

I've also decided to recap a few plot details in case it might help. Possible spoilers ahead.
What I do know:
- It's a Silhouette/ Harlequin/ Mills & Boon Contemporary Romance.
- I believe it was originally published between the late 90's and the first decade of the 2000's. Give or take.
- It's a second chance romance. I cant't recall if they're a divorced or an estranged married couple, or even if they were high school sweethearts. What I'm sure is that they're no longer together in the current timeline.
- There's a scene where the male protagonist pays an unexpected visit at heroine's workplace, she gets distraught and sick, fails to reach the restroom in time and ends up throwing up on his expensive leather shoes.
- The female protagonist has an old lady friend who happens to be a doctor. Cannot remember if said friend is a GP, a shrink or an OB-GYN, but she knows the heroine’s medical history and provides counselling over the course of the story.
- I think the h is a jewellery designer but I'm inclined to believe that she also may be a fashion designer, an artist or some kind of artisan. What I do know is that she owns her own business/ workshop/ studio/ atelier.
What might be part of the plot, but I'm not so sure:
- Hero blackmails heroine into resume their relashionship. I'm not sure if he demands heroine to give him an heir or if he proposes they make a child in the old-fashioned way.
- Heroine dreams of being a mother but doesn't want to take a chance on a romantic relationship again. That’s why she starts to consider alternative routes to fulfil her wishes, such as going in pursuit of a donor in a sperm bank.
- I think she suffered a miscarriage in the past and I suspect their relationship didn't end up well at some point because of that fact.
- I entertain the idea that a (HIS or HER) powerful and evil father played an important role in their break-up, mainly because of their upbringing and class difference. I'm not sure if the hero starts off poor and the heroine lives comfortably and, when they meet again, he's no longer poor then. Or if she's the one from a humble background and he's a very rich guy.
I'll be very thankful for any tip or suggestion.
