'Save' in People/Characters 'Character description' isn't saving

Having added and saved content to the 'Character description' box on Jane Gay's page, https://www.librarything.com/character/Jane+Gay, it's not displaying.

It does, however, reappear when I click on Edit, but that may just for me as its creator. The 'History' button has also appeared, but with no content in the 'Value' column.

>1 Cynfelyn: It appears when anyone clicks Edit, not just you. The site (LT) is behaving badly atm, very laggy with several weird "bugs" that are all probably related to the same root cause. Just give it a few hours or check back tomorrow.

Yes, I can tell you that it is saved because if you log out and view the page, you can see the description; so don't bother trying to fix it; we're working on some issues at the moment, and hopefully we'll have them solved soon.

I noticed every other description field I've looked at today is also not displaying. Still happening as of 3:30 pm EDT
