I am in for the Readathon. Kerry is going to be gone much of tomorrow, so I am hoping to take advantage of that.

>4 nrmay: it's worth it. Check out bookfinder.com for the best deal.

>2 SilverWolf28: good news, thank you for sharing.

I took advantage of a slightly cooler day to get some overdue yardwork done. After a hot shower I see it's also showering outside. So, since I'm inside for the rest of the afternoon I'm going back to Peacemaker, but after I watch the Haskell Stakes. There are a couple horses running that are of modest bloodlines that are doing better than the expensive Kentucky bluebloods. I love underdogs.

I've read one chapter of Come Fly the World.
My son and his GF spent the night at my house and we were so busy talking about their travels to Morocco and Belgium that I gladly put my book aside.
They've left to return to there apt in Columbus so I'll just spend the day reading on my deck and enjoying the spectacular weather.

Waited until today to post...I like to use Monday mornings to finish up the weekend reading.

Book finished: Light a Penny Candle by Maeve Binchy

Thoughts: I think of Binchy as being upbeat even when her characters have sad lives. This story of two lifelong friends was, with a few exceptions, really sad from beginning to end but a good story nonetheless.
