Found: orphans, travel, juvenile fiction, title says wonder...

I read a book in about 4th or 5th grade. I can only remember half of the title but it starts with wonder (I think). It is about a group of orphans (8-12 kids) they are all young, maybe ages 5-12. The have a small camp that they all live in but then something happens and they have to leave. They are on the move and end up at a farm where the people let them stay. Some of the kids stay in the house while others refuse and stay in the barn. Eventually they all get split up and some of them get adopted but the rest feel betrayed and like they should stay together so (I think) the remaining few leave. Any suggestions would be great!
UPDATE - I figured out the title after quite a bit more searching! It is titled Wanderville by Wendy McClure
