As an add-on to my previous question. I thought I saw somewhere how to separate works listed under an author and now I can't find it again. In particular, the entry for Ernest Adams has works from three different Ernest Adams. Confusingly, at least two of them are both Ernest W. Adams so middle initial is not sufficient to separate them.

Most of the works there belong to Ernest W. Adams, Game Designer and Lecturer, still alive.
This one however (https://www.librarything.com/work/20471079) seems to be a different Ernest W. Adams, died in 2009, professor of Philosophy at UC Berkely. (reference: https://senate.universityofcalifornia.edu/_files/inmemoriam/html/ernestwadams.ht...
And this one (https://www.librarything.com/work/9299604) appears to have been published by a different Ernest Adams in 1874. (reference: https://archive.org/details/elementsofenglis0000erne)

You need to split the author. Look for the Helper Hub link on the author page

Saw that and did not understand it at first. Just realized what the toggle was for. Thanks.

Okay, I separated them and aliased them, but one of them came back a bit weird. In the Disambiguation page https://www.librarything.com/author/adamsernest the second one says this:
Works have been aliased into .
It should have said something more like Works have been aliased into Ernest Wilcox Adams.
So I'm not sure if there is something there needing fixed or not...?

I don't think I used the alias thing correctly. It just seemed to create new author pages with none of the information linked. So I think I removed the aliases and just have them listed as Ernest Adams (1|2|3).

Okay, I think I fixed the aliasing: #2 now points to the author page for Ernest W Adams.
However, "Ernest W Adams" may itself need to be split. Nope, that LT author's works are all philosophy.
The problem is the game designer (Ernest W Adams) versus the philosopher (Ernest Wilcox Adams), yes? But no works on LT have that second name, in full, as author.

Ernest W. Adams (Game Designer) commonly goes by that name. I've been unable to find a full middle name for him.
Ernest Wilcox Adams (philosophy professor) seems to show up often as Ernest W. Adams also.
The final Ernest Adams wrote two English Grammar books. I was unable to find anything more about him other than the two books he authored.
Both the last two seem to have only one book in LT. All books by all three authors seem to be entered in only as Ernest Adams.
