Awards help: National Book Award

I'm unable to determine how to edit awards with the new system. If someone can educate me how to do it.

Example:

https://www.librarything.com/work/5178
National Book Award (Winner – Paperback) ... should be -->
National Book Award (Winner – Fiction (paperback) – 1980)

Ref: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/National_Book_Award_for_Fiction

All of the National Book Award's for the years 1980-1983 are incorrect. They should be "Fiction (hardcover)", or "Nonfiction (paperback)" etc per the Wiki article. Some are missing award years, or missing the award category (Fiction, Poetry etc).

This isn't a bug. This is just correcting data.

To fix the award:
Click on the award on the work page - this takes you to the award page.
Click on the category that's incorrect at the top of the award page.
Then click on Edit in the right column.
Click on Organize.
Repair the incorrect information -- MAKE SURE YOU CLICK SAVE.

If you still feel uncertain of how to fix things, you can post in this group:

A tip when working with a prize with many works like this one: Select a subgroup, such as one year or one category, before you click Edit > Organize. It can take an incredibly long time for the page to load or update if all the works are showing, so working on a subset makes things a little easier.

Also, where info (particularly dates) are shown in green, LT has provided default info (usually the date of publication, not the date the award was given), and that info doesn’t show up on works pages or in the list on the awards page when you select the year.

Another suggestion: Please use the award's own information as your source material, where possible.

For the National Book Awards, a big part of their site lets you browse the awards by year:
The people who created the Wikipedia entries made editorial decisions.

In one sense, LT is like Wikipedia in that we present an award's info within our own frameworks. We need to make our own editorial decisions on how to fit an award's historic info into the new LT awards system. That includes deciding whether/how to present category names changes over the years. The people who created the Wikipedia entries made editorial decisions on putting the same info into a different framework (a wiki).

It would probably help to say which national book award you are talking about, just in case various countries have them.
