One ARC set aside for me when I was on vacation: The Book of Lost Hours by Hayley Gelfuso (pub 8/25). Says fiction, but aimed at fans of Time Traveler's Wife and The Ministry of Time. Sounds awesome.

I ordered The Civilized Shoppers Guide to Florence because of a vacation coming up later this year. Best beloved trip planner just informed that we’re not going anywhere near Florence. 🤷‍♀️
From EBay The Map and the Territory (Vintage International) by Michel Houellebecq
From the FoL a bunch of poetry:
Landscape at the End of the Century: Poems by Stephen Dunn, Scrambled Eggs & Whiskey: Poems, 1991-1995 by Hayden Carruth, and View with a Grain of Sand: Selected Poems by Wislawa Szymborska

This ARC won't be published in the US until October, which makes the end of the year feel closer than it is: Lost Souls Meet Under a Full Moon by Mizuki Tsujimura.

I shouldn't, and I may still take it back: one ARC, a thriller due to be published in May.

I've been hearing good things about Chris Pavone since The Expats. The new one is called The Doorman.

Also bought a TIME Special Edition magazine "100 Must Read Fantasy Books." Am going to check how many I've read, & how many I own. It's a venn diagram.

Aaaacccckkkkk! More ARCs turned up. And I grabbed After We Burned by Marieke Nijkamp, whose This Is Where It Ends I read and "enjoyed" (it's about a school shooting, so not the right word) when it came out. I also read her subsequent book, which was different. Liked the first better. New one is also young adult fiction, to be published in July.
