Can't invite a new Admin to a Group

I have twice tried inviting a new admin to The Poetry Collective

The member I invited gets a System message from LibraryThing sender, but it says "Message removed" rather than a message to accept or decline.

I also invited myself (creator) got the same "Message removed" but now it shows me as an Admin instead of Creator.

Is this a bug? Or do I have some setting in the group that causes this behavior?

I tested this by inviting myself to a test Group I created and I'm getting the same thing, but I'm still seeing the "Admin (Creator)" role next to my name. Are you sure that your name had the "(Creator)" bit next to your name just before you tried inviting yourself? I wonder if those are two separate issues.

I had another "System message" from 3:34am this morning that also showed "Message removed.", so I wonder if it's all System messages. If you can draw up a bug report, I'll start digging further on this. Thanks!
