Hello! I have new to this website, may someone please help me through the roots and explain how it works?

DebiCates recently created an amazing tutorial. https://www.librarything.com/ngroups/24977/Welcome-Goodreaders-to-LibraryThing. You don't have to be from GoodReads to benefit from it.

I am new to all this,just started cataloging today, was wondering if I had everything right thanks for posting these helpful sites I will forsure be checking out all the suggestions and welcome any other advice someone might have.
