Award announcements think my timezone hasn't happened yet

Just a small protest RSI.

The NZ Ockham Awards Shortlist was announced this morning, when I add the Announcement to the Award, with today's date, it marks it as Upcoming instead of Recent. I'd appreciate it if the site acknowledged my reality in which it is already the 4th of March.

Thanks, I hadn't bothered to go check that, and Yes I can confirm that the site should know my time zone.

That sounds like a bug, then, rather than a request. Can you draw up a bug report? I'll see if we can get that fixed so that it's looking at the member's respective timezone. (I assume it's defaulting to LibraryThing's timezone, Eastern US.)
