The recommendations for 'Complete List' and 'Newest' are gone. The classic system seems fine.
When I check 'Complete List', it tells me to check my settings, but I did, and my whole library is included to generate recommendations.
'Newest' tells me there are no recommendations, even though I received the weekly update with 52 recommendations according to the heading.
I haven't made any changes to my account. I cleared my browser cache (Chrome) and tried to view the page with another browser (Firefox) to no avail.
Help would be much appreciated.

Yep, me too.
EDIT: Now, four new messages from user timspalding saying my new recommendations are ready. This appears to be the same message I received in 2022 when this new recommendation system was first implemented.
"Newest" recommendations remain blank.

I am also seeing this behavior when I click on Recommendations. The message is that I have none and that I should check my settings. I clicked on a notification that said I had 1000+ recommendations to see this message.

I just got notice that my recommendations are ready! Then when I click on the link it takes me to a notice that they are being generated in the "new recommendations system" and will be ready soon. Needless to say I have been in the "new" recommendations system for a long time. @timspalding

Yeah. I fixed the underlying problem—a security thing we put in place caused the system to start storing the recommendations "blogs" wrong. It's unclear to me how long it will take to get right, but I have three times the regular resources chewing down the recommendations queue. I'm hoping you don't get anymore bad notifications, but I haven't quite treed why that happened.

As far as I can see, this issue has not been resolved yet in my case. Recommendations are still missing.

For a brief second several days ago, they went from missing to horrifying, filled with books that might have found their way into a trash can or fire pit had they been given to me. But it was a brief second, and now they're back and looking fine.

I'm getting seriously annoyed with this. The recommendations were a huge improvement on the classic recommendations list. I have to go through the classic recommendations list again, and it's a totally effing hard slog to use this system.
I haven't seen any improvement of the situation so far. Flamin' heck !

Just needed to mention this for the benefit of all the folks out here that have the same problem : using a different browser doesn't make a darn difference, either way. In the past, I have installed Opera, Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox and Brave, and I keep these up to date anyway, although I don't use half of them.
It's easy enough to check : the browser you're using is NOT the problem, as far as I can discern.
And nothing has changed at my end, BTW.

As far as I can see, today my recommendations are working in the normal manner. In any case, many thanks to the LT team for persevering to solve this issue. as I can imagine this was a hard slog to achieve.

I have this issue, but bizarrely “suspense and thriller” is still populating. This is probably not the genre I’d choose to read until the end of time… hopefully the others reappear!

I have noticed for a while now that no recommendations were generated since 2026-04-23. I think this is pretty curious, given the fact that, on average, I get at least 1 recommendation list (that is one date) per month. (sometimes even 2 or even 3)

My recommendations are also still empty. Is there any reason to think they'll suddenly start working again, or should I accept that they're gone forever?
